What we will cover:
Design ideas and considerations
Introduction to tools and equipment
How to roll, cut and texture clay
Drying and refining
Polishing and finishing
What should I bring to the event?
Glasses, if you need them. A notebook and pen may be handy and an apron (although it's not essential).
Tea, coffee, water and biscuits will be in plentiful supply, but please bring your own lunch and let me know in advance if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.
A word of warning - fluffy clothing is NOT advisable - clay loves fluff!
What if I'm not very 'arty'?
Don't worry, silver clay always works it's magic! And I'll be here to guide you with tips, demos and sample pieces every step of the way...
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
If you are arriving by train or bus, there are good bus links from both Winchester train and bus stations. We are also a short taxi journey from both stations (approximately 10 minutes) and if you are driving there is off-street parking for three cars, and on-street is unrestricted directly outside my house.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?
You may transfer a ticket to another person for the date you have booked, but please let me know their details in advance.
If you can no longer attend on the date you have booked, you may change to a class on another date, but this is subject to availability and a minimum notice period of 30 days, as per the cancellation policy.
If you are booked on a course and you do not turn up on the day, no refund will be given. I would appreciate if you could please call on 07867 787717 and let me know if you can't attend or are going to be late on the day, out of respect for your fellow students – and so that we know you are safe.
Is my booking secure?
To ensure your details and payment are processed securely, all of my events are listed and booked via Eventbrite.
